FAQ

What should a good machine design training course include?

Professional engineering training in machine design is primarily practical. The best results are achieved when theoretical knowledge is combined with individual exercises on specific machines.

Good training is based on a clearly defined course curriculum. This allows participants to know in advance what topics will be covered during the course and avoid being surprised by topics that are not tailored to their needs.

The course schedule for mechanics should include knowledge of: technical drawing analysis, strength of structural elements, tribology, detachable and non-detachable connections, individual structural elements (bearings, axles, shafts, clutches, etc.).

The course program for designers includes primarily: modeling and optimization, basics of strength, load-bearing structures, designing with reliability and safety in mind.

Reputable training centers provide reliable educational materials, supervision by experienced lecturers, and a certificate of course completion in the course price.

Why is it worth doing mechanical engineering training?

There is currently a significant demand for qualified workers who are fluent in mechanics and machine building. Training for mechanics and designers provides a comprehensive source of knowledge and skills, which are currently highly valued in the job market.

Mechanical engineering courses are also valuable for teams working together within a single department or facility. With the help of an experienced trainer, they can identify the key skills of each team member, and from this, create a new, more effective division of responsibilities. Collaboratively discussing common errors and recurring issues allows for the systematization of work within a group and significantly increases its efficiency.

Who are the mechanics and machine construction courses for?

Machine design training is aimed at production workers, mechanics responsible for the technical operation of machines, as well as design engineers and maintenance engineers.

Experience shows that the best results are achieved when individuals attend the course as part of a larger team. The presence of employees from a specific unit, along with the manager, allows for the quick identification of knowledge gaps. It also helps establish expectations for each party and find common ground that will ensure mutual benefits and improve company operations.

Will the mechanics and mechanical engineering course help me get a job in my profession?

More and more companies and production plants rely on new technologies, primarily specialized machinery. The proper operation of a factory has become dependent on the efficiency of the equipment that powers it. This is why the role of mechanics and designers is so crucial, ensuring that damage and downtime are prevented.

The skills acquired by participants in machine design courses can therefore have a real impact on their future careers. The experience gained during training allows them to work both in larger machine parks and in the repair of various smaller devices.

Qualified workers can quickly identify faults and restore equipment to proper operating condition. Training in mechanics and mechanical engineering prepares them to independently diagnose and solve problems. These are valuable skills that will gradually become increasingly sought after in the job market.

What are the opinions about mechanics and mechanical engineering courses in Silesia?

Participants who participated in mechanical engineering training courses in Silesia at EMT-Systems expressed positive feedback about the course content and course content. Maintaining the right balance between theoretical lectures and practical exercises is crucial in these types of courses. This is also confirmed by participants from large Silesian cities such as Gliwice. Working on real equipment under the supervision of specialists allows for better consolidation of the knowledge presented in the educational materials.

The standard of courses at EMT-Systems in Silesia is so high that people come from all over Poland. Participants emphasized the broad range of topics, the opportunity to practice at individual laboratory stations, and the instructors' skillful and engaging delivery of information. When choosing a training center, it's also worth considering whether it offers a certificate of completion and in which languages.

What training is worth doing to learn the basics of machine design?

To learn the most important aspects of machine design for mechanics, it's a good idea to start with basic training. After completing this course, students should know how to construct machine parts and select appropriate parameters. They also have a fundamental understanding of the types of detachable and non-detachable connections, as well as clutches, brakes, and gears.

After completing basic training, a mechanic can expand his knowledge through a course on the construction and operation of bearings and a course on vibratory feeders.

The list of training courses for designers is somewhat longer. It's worth first familiarizing yourself with the knowledge provided in the basic technical drawing course, the geometric dimensioning and tolerancing course, and the basic machine design course. With this background, it's much easier to grasp the concepts covered in the next-level courses: vibratory feeder design and technical mechanics.

Is the basics of technical drawing enough to take a mechanics course?

Only general technical knowledge is required for those taking courses in mechanics, construction, and machine design. The exception is the vibratory feeder training, where participants should already have a basic understanding of materials science and a basic knowledge package on machine design for designers.

Basic mechanics courses are designed to convey the information outlined in the schedule in the most accessible way possible. Some centers also allow for the schedule and its implementation to be tailored to the individual needs of students.
