NX is the next-generation digital product development system that helps transform the product lifecycle. With the industry's largest suite of integrated, connected CAD/CAM/CAE applications, NX covers all development processes related to product design, manufacturing, and simulation.
NX software provides a complete set of integrated process automation tools, enabling you to capture and reuse product and process knowledge using best practices. NX is based on the world's leading Parasolid kernel, owned by Siemens PLM Software.
The agreement signed between the institutions allows conduct certified courses by the software manufacturer. Siemens' constant supervision of the training courses conducted guarantees the highest quality and access to the latest software and training materials.
NX is the abbreviation used to describe MDA software development vision (Mechanical Design Automation) in the "NeXt generation" technology. The Siemens PLM NX system has modular construction, the customer has the ability to configure the system according to their needs and potentially expand it with additional modules as needed. The entire system can be configured as a "Bundle" – bundled license packages (activating one module locks the entire package) or as floating licenses (licenses function as individual modules within the network). It is possible to activate a single module without locking the others.
A management module that connects all Siemens PLM NX system modules. It allows you to perform basic operations such as opening existing part files and creating new files.

It allows for managing individual drawing layers, defining views and configuring the on-screen display, display control including hiding objects, and access to the help system. The module also includes a spreadsheet that allows for building and managing families of elements and the relationships between parameters of different parts. The module also allows for analyzing modeled elements in terms of mass, analyzing dimensions, and defining curve types.
A module for modeling 2D and 3D elements using the Sketch tool and the feature-based method.

Geometric, functional, and physical properties are assigned here. Sketches or models from other CAD programs can be imported into the module. Elements created in the modeling module are used in later project phases for complex analyses in modules such as Assemblies, Motion Simulation, Advanced Simulation, and others.
