After completing the training, the participant:

Has knowledge of the properties and methods of preparing compressed air
Knows the structure and operation of pneumatic actuators and control elements used in industry
Can read pneumatic control system diagrams
Thanks to exercises using training stations enabling the configuration and testing of pneumatic systems, the student has the ability to assemble pneumatic control systems
Can select pneumatic components to meet the requirements of industrial production processes
Possesses skills in designing systems using intuitive and algorithmic methods

target group

The training is intended for technical staff operating pneumatic devices and engineers (designers, constructors and technologists), as well as for those interested in acquiring knowledge of the basics of conventional pneumatic systems.

The optimal personnel composition is a team working within a single unit (including a manager, technical staff, and engineers). This training composition allows for the identification of employee limitations and knowledge gaps and the assessment of any potential discrepancies in expectations between management and lower-level employees.

day 1	Introductory information on industrial pneumatic systems: Properties of the working medium in terms of practical application Basic advantages and disadvantages of pneumatic systems Elementary gas transformations and their practical significance Pressure losses in pipes (meaning, examples, detection) Examples of tasks using software and real systems Graphic symbols of pneumatic elements and the basics of reading diagrams Systems for the production, preparation and transmission of compressed air: Compressors (classification, principle of operation, construction, operating parameters) Compressed air tanks (selection, importance, operation) Methods of drying compressed air Cables and their selection (classification, application, advantages and disadvantages) Compressed air preparation units Actuating elements of pneumatic systems: Division of elements converting pneumatic energy into mechanical work Construction of pneumatic actuators and motors Operating parameters and principles of selecting actuators Pneumohydraulic elements (application, construction, advantages and disadvantages) Practical classes in the construction and operation testing of PNEUMATIC systems using assembly stations.
day 2	Pneumatic system controls, including valves: Controlling the flow direction of the working medium Controlling the flow rate of compressed air Pressure Typical configurations of pneumatic systems, including controls: Single-acting actuator: Direct and indirect (including a discussion of the advantages and reasons for using a specific type of solution) By means of a circulation switch, a double signal valve The speed of the actuator piston movement (including the use of quick release valves – discussion of the principles of controlling the parameters of working and idle movements) Double-acting actuator Using monostable and bistable valves As a function of the path (use of limit switches, automation of pneumatic systems) The speed of the actuator piston movement (using throttle, check-throttle and quick release valves) Load dependent (using a threshold valve) Time-dependent (use of valves that delay switching on and off) The phenomenon of signal overlap, methods of detection and elimination Construction and operation of simple pneumatic control systems Safety rules for working with compressed air Practical classes in the construction and operation testing of PNEUMATIC systems using assembly stations.
day 3	Practical exercises - construction and testing of pneumatic systems using training assembly stations, including: Development of real systems based on the prepared diagrams Modification of developed real models Identification and elimination of pneumatic system errors.

ULTRASONIC LEAK DETECTOR

During training, we also demonstrate how to use a leak detector in pneumatic systems. Our tool is the Leakshooter – an ultrasonic leak detector with a built-in camera.

It allows for the detection of leaks in any pressurized gas. It is also suitable for negative pressure (vacuum) systems. The camera allows for precise location of the leak thanks to a color-changing indicator. A photo can be taken at the leak location and then downloaded to a computer for further use.
