Training objectives
- Is able to explain basic concepts and terminology related to cybersecurity system management and is familiar with current regulations
- Understands the purpose, scope and requirements of the new NIS 2 Directive and is able to classify an entity in accordance with EU guidelines
- Is able to identify the responsibilities and requirements for implementing and managing a security system in accordance with NIS 2, including risk management, supply chain security and cyber hygiene
- Knows the legal consequences of non-compliance with NIS 2 requirements, can identify those responsible and understands the responsibilities of management and the principles of enforcement
- Able to handle cybersecurity incidents, including their proper reporting and providing the required information
- Is able to develop and implement business continuity plans and procedures for dealing with critical situations
- Understands the relationship between the NIS 2 Directive and other EU regulations on cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, cyber resilience and data management

- concepts and terminology related to system implementation and management
- defining the basic objectives of implementing and managing the system
- organization of the cybersecurity system in the EU
- the role and powers of CISERTs
- current regulations resulting from the NIS 1 directive in force in Poland – definition of entities, structure of the UKSC
- digital security of IT and OT systems and their impact on the organization
- the role of ISO standards in ensuring business continuity and IT security
2. New NIS 2 Cybersecurity Directive – New Requirements and Obligations for Essential Service Operators and Digital Service Providers
- purpose and scope of the directive
- introduction of the directive into national law – the new NIS Act 2
- defining entities covered by the NIS 2 Directive (key and important)
- conducting your own entity classification – EU guidelines, requirements and interpretations
- defining requirements for the implementation and management of the system according to the NIS 2 directive
- securing supply chains according to the NIS 2 directive
