  • Knows the essential requirements and principles of conformity assessment resulting from the provisions of the Machinery Regulation 2023/1230, which comes into force on 20 January 2027.
  • Knows the basic obligations of manufacturers, distributors and importers related to the introduction of machines into the common European market
  • Is aware of the legal liability and consequences of failure to meet essential requirements
  • Is able to analyze the technical and operational documentation of a machine and identify the essential requirements, determining the scope of modifications permitted by the user and the consequences of CE conformity for a given device
  • Understands the process of assessing the conformity of machinery and equipment with the essential requirements, including the scope of manufacturer's responsibilities, the role of market surveillance, and the importance of risk assessment in accordance with ISO 12100
  • Is able to prepare or verify the basic elements of the technical documentation and CE marking for a machine, taking into account EU and national law, and identify cases requiring additional action to ensure compliance
  • Is able to independently assess the conformity of a machine, explain decisions regarding CE conformity to stakeholders (e.g. users, safety services) and indicate the sources of law that regulate the putting into service of a machine
  • Training dedicated to manufacturers, importers and distributors of machinery and technical equipment
