Training objectives
- Knows in detail the timeline for the introduction of EU regulations in the area of machines, artificial intelligence and cybersecurity
- Knows the system of administrative penalties introduced by the new Act on Conformity Assessment Systems of 2016, which introduces the provisions of the EU NLF system
- Knows the new regulations introduced in Poland and the EU regarding Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity in the area related to the revision of the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC
- Knows the new definitions introduced in Poland and the EU related to the modernization and integration of machines, machine software and partly completed machines
- Knows the new, expanded categories of industries that fall under the new Cybersecurity Directive (NIS 2)
- Knows what new documents will have to be attached to machines from October 18, 2024 (Security certificates resulting from NIS 2)
- Has knowledge of the completely new system of administrative penalties introduced by the NIS 2 Directive
- policy of purchasing new machines and information technologies
- implementing a cybersecurity policy in the area defined by the NIS 2 Directive

1. PART I - CONFORMITY ASSESSMENT SYSTEM - CURRENT REGULATIONS AND DIRECTIVES
- Structure of national and EU regulations regarding the placing on the market and use of machinery and technical equipment:
- obligations of a European Union member state arising from the signed treaties
- the introduction of European Union directives into national law, old and new approach directives
- differences between the directive and the European Commission regulation when introducing a legal act into the Polish system
- division into so-called new and old machines
- economic essential requirements and social minimum requirements
- the role of market surveillance units in the conformity assessment system
- harmonized standards – Standardization Act, voluntary application of standards
- the most important regulations regulating the system:
- Act on Liability for Defective Products
- General Product Safety Act
- Conformity Assessment System Act of 2002
- Act on Conformity Assessment and Market Surveillance Systems of 2016
- The Labor Code Act
- Changes to the conformity assessment system for machines manufactured in the United Kingdom of England (UKCA) and Northern Ireland (UKNI)
- Similar conformity assessment systems in force in Europe (EAC, UKRSEPRO)
