Marcin Podsiadły

EMT-Systems Trainer in the field of industrial automation. Head of the Control and Visualization Systems Department. Marcin Podsiadły specializes in creating comprehensive programming standards for PLCs and HMI/SCADA process visualization systems. As part of his work, he also optimizes existing PLC control systems, as well as their modernization and migration. He conducts training in automation device programming for EMT-Systems. He is the author of unique training courses on best programming practices, expert functions, and programmable diagnostics. He lectures at the Silesian University of Technology as part of the Postgraduate Studies in "Automation, Robotics, and Digitization of Production Processes" and the MBA "Industry 4.0" program. He teaches courses in PLC Programming, HMI/SCADA Visualization Systems, and Industrial Networks. He is the author of the bestselling book "Industrial Automation for Beginners: Learn About PLCs and HMI Panels and Learn to Program Them." Winner of the first edition of the Polish PLC Programmers Championships.

Jacek Stand

A passionate controller programming enthusiast since his university days, he later expanded his knowledge of hardware platforms, such as the then-GE Fanuc, to include others – primarily Beckhoff and, of course, Siemens (including the S5 series). He was particularly interested in high-reliability systems, including redundancy in controllers operating in "hot standby" mode. This was also the subject of his doctoral thesis, defended in 2009. Of course, industrial systems are indispensable without communication networks. Initially, he used fieldbus networks, such as the popular Profibus and Modbus, but also lesser-known solutions like Genius. Currently, he primarily uses industrial Ethernet solutions, such as Profinet, EtherCAT, and (it couldn't be otherwise) Modbus TCP. He has several years of experience, both practical and teaching, in automation system integration.

Piotr Gaj

He holds a Ph.D. in computer science. He specializes in the design of industrial IT and automation systems and is actively involved in the implementation of numerous industrial applications using PLCs, industrial networks (including PROFIBUS and PROFINET), drive systems, SCADA, HMI, and MES systems from various companies. He has 20 years of teaching experience in higher education. Due to his experience, he specializes in SIEMENS products and systems, including the Simatic S7 300/400. His training courses are always well-received by students.

Tymoteusz Wojniak

Technical Support Engineer at STERCONTROL, specializing in industrial communication networks and automation solutions for OT (Operational Technology) environments. He supports industrial plants in the design, diagnostics, and optimization of PROFINET and PROFIBUS networks, conducting communication infrastructure audits, and resolving issues affecting the reliability of production processes. He holds engineering certifications in PROFINET and PROFIBUS technologies. He also implements secure remote access solutions for industrial machines using VPN technology and supports projects related to industrial communication and automation system integration.
