  • ABS
  • Nylon
  • Carbon
  • Flex
  • MediFlex
Specialized preparations and adhesives

During the training, we also use the necessary adhesion and adhesive preparations:

  • Dimafix is an adhesive spray designed for FDM and FFF 3D printers with heated build plates. Dimafix eliminates the problem of prints peeling off.
  • Dimafix Pen - glue stick adapted to 3D printing in FDM and FFF technology with a heated build platform.
Ready-made elements and details from FDM printing

The laboratory also features a collection of finished products printed using FDM technology. These components are used to demonstrate exemplary performance or manufacturing defects.

Software

Each training participant will have a dedicated computer station with dedicated software installed: Cura and Slic3r. We will also present the capabilities and applications of Simplify 3D software.

  • PrusaSlicer Built on the foundation of Alessandro Ranellucci's Slic3r, it's completely free and open-source. Thanks to the strong community and dedicated development team at Prusa Research, we can constantly add new features.
  • Bamboo Studio - Open, modern, feature-rich cutting software. It incorporates project-based workflows, systematically optimized cutting algorithms, and an intuitive graphical interface, providing users with an incredibly smooth printing experience.
  • Care Instructions - software developed by Ultimaker. A very user-friendly, convenient, and fast tool. It offers a wide range of possibilities among various slicers. It includes an interesting plugin module that greatly expands G-code generation capabilities. It also offers printer control options via USB (including model transfer for printing).
  • slic3r - one of the most popular programs for slicing STL models into layers for subsequent printing. It offers extensive control over how the model is converted into printer-readable instructions.
  • Simplify 3D An all-in-one software suite for Windows, OS X, and Linux, it includes a complete set of tools for importing, manipulating, and repairing .STL/.OBJ models, slicing and generating G-code instructions, verifying paths, and final 3D printing. The application includes configurations for a wide range of 3D printers and offers compatibility with nearly 90% of devices on the market, according to the manufacturer.
